Title: The Widening Gyre. Book 1 of The Darkness Drops verse.
Author: the_curlyone
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 70,000
Pairing: Ten/Simm!Master
Warning: Mpreg (implicit), canon character death
Disclaimer: Nothing, including the frequent pop-culture references herein, are mine.
Summary: Life, death, rebirth, birth, parenting and paradoxes, Time Lord style. AU, so very, very AU
A/n: this fic was started way back in April 2010, so it's AU from LoTTLs onwards. Originally it was meant to be a bigbang entry but wasn't finished in time, so it's just sat in my files for over a year. Huge thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] thesmallhobbit and [livejournal.com profile] darklyenigmatic for their beta work. Title from W.B Yeats' poem The Second Coming.

Title: Ainley of Shalott
Author: ForAllLove
Pairing: Five/Ainley!Master
Word count: 1063
Rating: PG-13
Summary: In which Tennyson is ripped off, and contains rather more aliens than before.
Warnings: Poetry (yes, this is a warning), magic, and tasteful hints towards goings-on. And romaaaaaance!
Disclaimer: I wasn't even alive when Five was on.
Author's Note: "The Lady of Shalott," by Alfred Lord Tennyson, spawned this monstrosity. Please read the original; the poetry is beyond beautiful. Once you've attempted something similar, you'll understand how much skill and thought goes into rhyming with such flawlessness as Tennyson did. While my poem is nowhere near as perfect, I am not Tennyson, so I'll be proud of myself anyway. For the record, "The Lady of Shalott" is one of my favourite poems of many favourites. That is no excuse for what I did to it, though!

Read it at my journal...

Title: Possession by Inches
Pairing: Five/Ainley!Master
Length: About 1,300
Summary: The Master enjoys being bitten, scratched, bruised, and otherwise marked. The Doctor is rather surprised to find this completely relevant to his interests.
Rating/warnings: Adult; consensual light S&M
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] tardiscrash

Why this must be read:
I really can't. This is so sweet. And did I mention hot? I want to say all sorts of nice things about it but I flail a lot. This must be read.

The Master is mewling, helpless and revelling in it. He feels owned and claimed and wanted and needed and it is every bit as good as he imagined these feelings could be. The Doctor pulls back breathlessly, looking as his work with a pleased hum. This will last until the next time, he is sure of it.
