HELP WANTED! (You know what the Federation is, don't you? It's important)

This is the official WD post, but as a member of the editorial team, it's also a post from me/comes with an appeal from me. Please do apply if you're interested. It's a good and useful thing, and it is genuinely interesting to see what LJ fandom's doing from the ground up/you get the opportunity to publically ridicule The Sun/other papers with top 'news' on the world of Doctor Who.

It's that time again - [livejournal.com profile] who_daily and [livejournal.com profile] torchwood_three are looking for new editors to join our team!

Do you like Doctor Who and/or Torchwood? Do you like getting the latest fannish news before anyone else? Are you easily swayed by persuasively posed questions like these?

If so, [livejournal.com profile] who_daily and [livejournal.com profile] torchwood_three may be for you! If you don't have any previous newslettering experience, this can be a great place to start - we have a streamlined, easy-to-learn process for compiling each edition, and we're quick at answering questions within the group and discussing issues as they arise. At the moment, we're looking for people who'd be happy to play backup and jump in if anyone's unavailable.

If you're interested, please see this post.

If you've done any fannish-type organization before, that's a definite plus! Generally, though, all that's required is reliable internet service, commitment, and a certain level of fannish glee. ;) We have a lot of spots open, so don't hesitate to put your name in.

If you have any questions you can visit the link above, or contact [livejournal.com profile] beathen or [livejournal.com profile] beck_liz and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Application Deadline: This Friday, June 8
