Birthday Challenge 12

It's David Tennant's AND Eric Roberts' birthday today! Quick, write/art some birthday!fic in the comments, or link to it!

Celebrate the existence of:

ROBERTS!MASTER!

--and GOOSNAKE!Master as a subset thereof!

Perhaps via a meme in which you take advantage of Eric Roberts being Julia Roberts' brother to D/M Julia Roberts movies? Oh come on, a godawful Eat Pray Love? Runaway Bride, Notting Hill, Steel Magnolias? Dolly Parton!Companion! So many hilarious possibilities.

AND/OR

TEN!

Hell, it could be Crossover, John Smith or Colonel Brimmicombe-Wood time!

Surely you see that using one of these, OR BOTH, could create unimaginable magic? Fill some Table Prompts, team! Roberts!Master and the Goosnake have a long way to go, but Classic!Master/Ten is always tasty, AND NO ONE'S DONE TEN/CHEETAH!MASTER YET, OMG GUYS WHY NOT.

Cheer is not mandatory, it is just AWESOME. This spontaneous funtimes challenge ends aprox. when the 21st begins, so don't stress about it: just make us a prezzie!

A Softer Universe

I have made a bunch of Softer World remix comics to Doctor Who! It covers a lot of new Who, but there are enough Doctor/Master comics that I think it might be Relevant To Our Interests.

A Softer Universe! Spoilers up through Christmas Carol; warnings for crack, pathos, and emo Ten. Enjoy!

Rec: Had He the Motive and the Cue for Passion

I am reccing again! Exciting times. Unfortunately I signed up kind of hastily and then didn't prepare at all due to poor time management. But you will still get your recs - this just means that they will be a little random and perhaps a little telling about what I have at the top of my bookmarks. So, let's begin with...

Had He the Motive and the Cue for Passion

Pairing: Three/Delgado!Master
Length: about 1,300
Summary: "O that this too, too solid flesh would melt" and "To be or not to be" are sentiments that directly contradict the Master's philosophy on the matter of his own life.
Warnings: None.
Author on LJ (or Teaspoon, or Prydonian): [livejournal.com profile] soda_and_capes  or feverbeats on dreamwidth
Why this must be read: Let me throw some terms at you. Evil alien turned against the Master. Fencing. The Master playing Hamlet on stage. Why aren't you reading this, already? No, seriously, it sounds cracky (or like a typical episode, actually) but it's dead serious and true to the characters. The Shakespeare is used wonderfully, and there are some great observations about the characters snuck in there.
