I am reccing again! Exciting times. Unfortunately I signed up kind of hastily and then didn't prepare at all due to poor time management. But you will still get your recs - this just means that they will be a little random and perhaps a little telling about what I have at the top of my bookmarks. So, let's begin with...
Had He the Motive and the Cue for Passion
Pairing: Three/Delgado!Master
Length: about 1,300
Summary: "O that this too, too solid flesh would melt" and "To be or not to be" are sentiments that directly contradict the Master's philosophy on the matter of his own life.
Warnings: None.
Author on LJ (or Teaspoon, or Prydonian):

Why this must be read: Let me throw some terms at you. Evil alien turned against the Master. Fencing. The Master playing Hamlet on stage. Why aren't you reading this, already? No, seriously, it sounds cracky (or like a typical episode, actually) but it's dead serious and true to the characters. The Shakespeare is used wonderfully, and there are some great observations about the characters snuck in there.
Excerpt:
The Master is wearing a doublet. This is not deeply unusual in and of itself. In fact, that Doctor wouldn't mind wearing one himself this time around, if he knew a good tailor. The difference is that this time, the Master is standing on the stage in a local theatre's production of Hamlet, a play the Doctor knows the Master hates.
The Doctor, who had to be badgered into this by Jo, turns to her and says, “We have a problem.”

Leave comments if you like the fic! Authors love comments, especially on older stories (or I do and I'm willing to generalize to everyone else).
