Intro Digest 8: "Charley Pollard has had accidental adventures with every Doctor"

Hi!
I'm Gwyn, and I only fell in love with DW recently (within the past year- funny story how I discovered it). I'm working on a fiction right now that changes the events of the year that never was to a completely different story.
I haven't written any fictions yet, but have this one all planned out. I've done a bit of fan art, it's not very good but I'm getting a new stylus soon- I've had to do it all with a mouse so far.
I've seen loads of New Who and the older stuff, and my favorite Doctor is Five, though I do like Nine and Ten. I love Simm!Master best out of anyone, though.
My fanon is pretty dynamic at the moment, when I read something I like I keep it - sort of like a krillitane. =]
~I accept the existence and necessity of the looms.
~I think the Doctor and the Master are and have always been soul-mates, and they both knew it. Thete was so scared of his feelings that he felt the need to run away - I think that Koschei was a big part of the reason he left in the first place. I don't think they ever had sex before the Doctor left, which is something that most people seem to assume they did.
~The Master has had the drums since he was a child, BUT they were in the back of his mind until the Time War, the tragedy of which then triggered them to come to his conscious mind. That may have been why he decided to become Yana in the first place- he thought he would escape them as a human.
~Time Lords and Humans are very different species, besides the obvious similarities. They think differently, they rationalize differently, and they have many less boundaries. They have been around much longer than humans and, sort of like Kryptonians, have evolved to their peak physical potential. Mentally, they have a ways to go, but they're still more capable than us by far.
~It is possible for a human to become a Time Lord, but I don't know how yet.
~In SOME universes, the Doctor is meant to be with Jack and Rose, but never Martha. Ever.
Hello, hello! I've been lurking shamelessly. To be brief: I got into New Who last year and it hijacked my brain. Withdrawal set in when I ran out of new episodes, so I turned to Old Who and was promptly catapulted into whole new realms of epic obsession.
I don't know that I have a personal fanon exactly; I usually just enjoy anything thought-provoking and in-character. To me, the Doctor and the Master are all about the mind games—manipulation and twisted affection bound up into one insanely complex dynamic. I adore them to pieces. ♥
Anyway, glad to be here!
Okay, okay... I figured I ought to give introducing myself a try, since I'm signing on for the RP and skulking around the IRC channel and generally lurking in a less lurky fashion.
My first episode of Who was The Runaway Bride, though I've expanded my interests beyond new Who and have seen a good amount of classic and listened to far too many audios. I refuse to commit to a favorite Doctor because I like them all for different reasons. (Hint: it's Six, but you didn't hear that from me.) I do a lot of reading, a bit of roleplaying, and the occasional dash of writing... though I'm one of the sorts that doesn't often actually show writing to anyone.
Fanon is a surprisingly difficult question as I drift a lot and will buy into nearly anything that's well-written and/or amuses me at the moment. (The only thing I seem to stick to for certain is that Charley Pollard has/will/should meet and have accidental adventures with every Doctor.) Hopefully that makes just everything perfectly clear.
Hallo!I'm Kya and I'm a naughty lurking lurker. Been lurking this bat place for a while now and kept forgetting to actually join. Silly me, I know! Really need to stop being a chicken and be more open about my love for one of my OTPs!
Anyway.
I'm a whore of many talents, but only recently got into putting them to use with Who. (It was EoT that smacked me upside the head all "Bitch! Get on board this fanwagon!". The bondage chair sold me.) I'm really into New, but much of the Old has a special place in my heart. (Four and Five mostly.) Naturally, I adore how deliciously chaotic Simm!Master is and he had fantastic chemistry with Ten. Oddly enough, I also rather liked Roberts' as well.
It took me more time than it should have to get the implications of this fine quote here: Ten: "Right. TARDISes are separated. Time's up Doctor. Back to long ago. Where are you now? Nyssa and Tegan? Cybermen and Mara? Time Lords in silly hats and the Master? Oh he just showed up again same as ever."
Five: "Oh no, really? Does he still have that rubbish beard?"
Ten: "No, no beard this time. Well, a wife."
Mm-hm. Definitely a little somethin'-somethin' going on there.
Anyway, bondage chairs, wife-beards, where was I... Oh right! Personal fanon?
I share a lot of fanon with most others, actually. And I'm floored by all the fanon involved with the Koschei/Theta relationship. Really, truly, fantastic stuff. Absolutely wonderful. Guess for myself, I like the idea of things happening off-screen that may or may not be implied. As I can totally picture them having a great D/s sort of relationship. I like the idea of the Doctor being guilt stricken from the Time War and seeking absolution that only the Master, another Time Lord, can provide. I like things dark, edgy, and oddly bittersweet.
And here's what I have to offer: ART ; FIC ; VIDEO
Party time! ♥
+1 to the Lurker list who have found the guts to post.
I've been watching Doctor Who since 9th first came onto the television screen, and have fallen in love with the whole show ever since.
I started watching the old who episodes with the Master in and have found his relationship with the Doctor to be simply fascinating as it is very interesting to try and interpret.
My favourite is Ten/Simm!Master, but Three/Delgado!Master is also made of win.
