Intro Digest 22: Make New Friends, But Keep the Old
THIS WEEK!
Our backlog of introductions was all cleared out in the last intro post, and there have only been two new comments since then. To keep things even, with our five-a-week, I've been going through and picking at random, extras from before we did the digests.
Leave some love in the comments for the newbies, and the oldbies (and perhaps let's entice some of them back to the fold, shall we?)

Hiya! *waves* I'm Renuki and I'm a complete and utterly a newbie to Doctor Who... no really, I haven't even seen a whole episode yet just bit and pieces. So, all my knowledge comes from stuff I read online. Although, I'm going to watch some episodes soon. *grin*
I don't have a Doctor nor a Master yet, but give me time. XD Although I like about all the Doctors and Masters. ...yes, maybe even Crispy.
My muse runs on crack, AUs, and crossovers, at least when I'm not being a lazy ass.
I don't have much fanon yet. Expect I'm amusing myself with the thought of one of Master's future regenation will be a cute and harmless-looking pretty boy. ...and by cute and harmless looking, I mean "Awww, look at that cute litt-ARGH! IT'S TRYING TO RIP MY FACE OF-". >.>
I hope I will have something to post soon. *grin*

Hi, I'm Kaitlyn, and okay, I'm more than a little enamored with the idea of ten/Simm!Master as an item. I'm not new to lj, but I recently created this new account for the express purpose of using it to write constantly about the Whoniverse, so hopefully I'll be filling it up with lots of crafts, fanfiction, and the like in the coming months.
The friend who got me into Doctor Who several months ago has recently convinced me to go with her to Gally in February, so I'm also starting to prepare some costumes for that. Exciting stuff! Anyway, I'm excited to explore the community and will hopefully be contributing some content soon enough. :)

I've been meaning to introduce myself here! But I haven't. So I shall.
I'm Farrah, or Scribbles, or any other name except for those names which do not apply, and I like this community because I enjoy stalking all the shiny discussions. Because I loves me some Master/Doctor, yes, but I loves me some discussion time. It is a lovely combination of things, it is. And besides, you have delicious fic and such stuffs, so it is truly a winning result.
Three/Delgado is the most canon-est of canon Master/Doctor pairings. How this reconciles with the fact that Three/Jo is also canon, we will never know.
Personal canon, hrm. There is much, and it is muchly mutable. Oddly enough, I think that opportunies for pr0n times are few and far between in canon. (This is possibly a result of my tendancy towards Subtexty Gen.) Despite incredibly suggestive events such as "Yes, Please, More Conjugal Visits!" and "I Shall Keep You My Prisoner For A Year," I always suspect that the pair of them miraculously manage not to shag over the course of canon. Perhaps they were too busy working out who owned the house, or whether or not the Doctor owed the Master property damage because of the whole Exploding Gallifrey thing.
'course, that is my opinion of what occured in the expanses of canon, and we all know that 'canon' is a very loose word in Whodom.
Oh, and my other fanon is that chronological order of events is: Planet of Fire, followed by this phone call, and then, only then, The Mark of the Rani. Otherwise, the Doctor's reaction to the Master in the last serial does not make sense.

My name is Samyania, and I feel that everything has gone significantly downhill for the Master since the demise of Delgado (damn those Turkish taxis!).
Um. Yeah. Personal fanon...?
I suppose it wouldn't include much of anything the Master's done since the 80's. Mostly I tend to be of the attitude that if it's written down by people paid to write it, I can work around it and/or learn to accept it...
But I guess if I have any fanon, it's that the Master doesn't really want to rule anything as such, but is sort of doing a Jareth-from-Labyrinth ("You cowered before me, I was frightening. I have reordered time. I have turned the world upside down, and I have done it all for you! I am exhausted from living up to your expectations of me.") kind of thing. Like, acting as a foil in a kind of intergalactic game. Only he kind of got caught up in it and maybe by the time we get to Simm actually believes in it as its own motivation.
I think I read it in a fanfic somewhere. Probably. Anyway.

I am a recent new Who fan, though I have quickly become enamored (read:obsessed) with any and all pairings of Doctor/Master. There is just so much...stuff there. All too good to pass up.
