Okay, I know suddenly jumping in on a Doctor/Master comm to start a discussion about something Torchwood related is... not the most logical thing I've ever done, to be sure, but I swear it's relevant to this comm! Really! It's just that I've been watching Torchwood this series and have been having this strong sense of deja-vu over the whole Captain John/Captain Jack thing...

( Spoilers for Torchwood. Yes, Torchwood. Up to 2x12 'Fragments' and the promo for 2x13 'Exit Wounds' - but only the promo. And, um, Doctor Who Season 8. )

Really, though. "Spurned ex-lover goes mental and attempts to extract revenge by trying to destroy the protagonist's favourite planet" is such a winning formula that I can't really be surprised that the folks at Team Cardiff have decided to recycle it.

So, any thoughts? Or should I just STFU and GTFO?
