Come to chat Sunday night/tomorrow (instructions here) at 8 p.m. B.S.T. (convert to your own time here) to watch SHARKTOPUS!!! Many thanks to the intrepid soul who found and uploaded the file! We'll distribute the streaming link at the event. Sharktopus is a film in which Eric Roberts (aka Roberts!Master from the TV Movie) fuses a shark and an octopus together, and the resulting creature wreaks great havoc. I know, right? It's especially good as that's clearly just shit the Master would pull. Even fobwatched, clearly no one puts Roberts!Master in the corner... unless they want devoured by toothy tentacles or something.

stalkerbunny and I want to see Claws of Axos. And we want all of you to join us!

We'll have the watchalong on on saturday, 30th June, at 6 pm GMT. Use a time converter to establish when that is for you. As usual, we'll be using the comm's chatroom. Here's a faq if you don't know to access it. I've noticed that tardismedia is moving all it's videos over to another account; it doesn't host Claws of Axos anymore. Does anyone know what the new account is called? I couldn't find the new account, but I did discover some accounts that hosts Claws of Axos. Maybe one of them is the new account.

Another spontaneous watchalong appeared!

This time we will watch Planet of Fire. Either it will be a glorious episode or a sobfest for all D/M fans. You're all very welcome to join- but at your own risk. I haven't seen it in it's entirety so I can't say how much we will laugh/cry. Or if we'll do both.

We will begin on sunday, June the 3rd, at 8 pm GMT. You can establish when that is in your timezone with a time converter. Here is the episode in question. We'll be using the comm's chatroom, and if you don't know how access it, then read the faq here.

Hi comm! Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in watching "Curse of the Fatal Death," say, sometime during this upcoming weekend with me? I ask largely because:

1.) I've never seen it before, and I'm scared to go alone. DON'T MAKE ME GO ALONE!
2.) From what I can tell by looking at the archives, the comm hasn't done an episode watchalong for "Fatal Death" before, which seems rather odd, considering the whole...um...ending, and its relevance to our interests. We should reverse the polarity of this condition! ***shot***

So, for anyone who's interested, list days and times (and state your timezone!) when you'd be free to watchalong with me. We'll work something out somehow.

Otherwise, I'll just go....by myself....all alone....afraid....to the unknown.....

EDIT REDUX!

All right folks, due to some very logical points about accommodating regular weekday work schedules made by one 10littlebullets (thanks!), and also due to me discovering that I have to do things on Sunday, the conclusion is:

"CURSE OF THE FATAL DEATH" WATCHALONG WILL BE ON SATURDAY AT 9:00 PM UTC/GMT

I'll put up a reminder post on Saturday. Also, if you find you can't make the watchalong at that day and time, fear not! Your thoughts, love, comments, etc. WILL NOT GO UNHEARD! This Sunday at 8 PM BST, we will be watching The Ark. This episode features the first Doctor, Steven Taylor and Dodo Chaplet - oh, what's that? Who's Dodo, you say, and where did Vicki go? WELL. It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that all five of the opening stories of series 3 (no, not the one with crazy Simm!Master and Martha, that was series 29) have been subjected to eternal burnination ~~barring some unchecked basements in Hong Kong~~. In memory of those those lost to the BBC’s 70s tape-saving policy, let us have a short (and extremely uneven, sorry, I’m new at this) recap.

And that brings us, at long last, to a story intact - THE ARK!

So... it's that time again. In about ten minutes or so, I'll be starting The Chase to continue the Watchalong of Time and Spa. Come join Mem in the chat so she's not a sad little panda? I think this is the last serial for Barbara and Ian, so I really will be a sad panda this time, regardless of people being there or not, but it's more fun when there's someone else in there with me. If anyone's around to watch The Space Museum - assuming my calculations are correct and that is indeed what is next on the schedule for Ultimate Watchalong All of Time and Spa - I will be in the chatroom from five minutes ago until, er, until such time as I see fit, hoping someone will come along and watch with me. I may begin even if alone (my brandy alexander will keep me company), but I will gladly start over if any Actual People show -

PS: Has anyone seen this? I think it may be Relevant to Our Interests - it's a forthcoming past Doctor adventure featuring the third Doctor, the Master, and no other mentioned companions. "[S]et on both 20th century Earth and far into the future, it will see the duo battling to save the universe – and facing the ultimate moral crisis." Sounds like a recipe for goodness to me.

'The Sensorites' becomes relevant in Ten era because the Ood resemble the titular species, and are stated to be genetically related to them. More importantly in terms of overall canon, Susan demonstrates telepathic powers in this serial, making this the show's first instance of psychic!TLs. One is surprised to find Susan's a good deal more psychic than he is. Good genes on the Master's side, I guess...

* Recently we've had some kinda dubious anon meme posts. The prompts in question are fine; some prompts are responses to others, and you're allowed to have opinions. But exercise best judgement/play well with others. Don't diss other people's prompts when you make yours. You may be anon, but this ain't who_anon. Not everything's gonna be your cuppa. It would be nice if we could avoid 'your choices are invalid, this character is this way' in the future.

BUT: prompts are good things to get, and thanks for all the prompts and all the responses recently.
