I am in need of one or more new long-term betas for Praxis.

This is slightly different from your typical betaing job. The main responsibilities are:
  • Moral support.
  • Being a sounding board when I'm stuck/brainstorming.
  • A bit of "spot the typo" and being fresh eyes when I've been going over one section for too long.

    Requirements:

  • You'd need to be available on IM at least a few evenings a week.
  • You must enjoy the messed-up love that is Doctor/Master. (Shouldn't be a problem with this group.)
  • You DO NOT have to be an expert on britpicking, DW canon, or even a writer. Enthusiasm and a reader's eye are far more vital.

    Benefits:

  • You get to catch up with the unposted chapters already in the queue.
  • You get to see new chapters months before everyone else.
  • You help ensure that Praxis fic actually reaches its planned conclusion (seriously, I need my betas to achieve this).
  • My eternal gratitude. And a pony.

I'm one of those newbies who is just watching old Who for the first time. Naturally I'm starting with the Master's episodes. I was very impressed with the ho!yay in "The Claws of Axos," so I wrote a screencap review.

It's here if anyone is interested. Heavy on the crack and ho!yay as suits the episode.

a VHS tape of Logopolis?  More re: having it for your very own is at this post (wherein I make sure it's clear we aren't violating copyright laws and where I prattle on and on about other stuff --- the tape info is in the first two paragraphs).

Okay, so we all know what my favoritest Who is evah -- The King's Demons. A silly, short little two-ep series, I know, but there it is. I got started drabbling a sort of "lost scene" in it -- after the Doctor is shown to a chamber but before the meal where he sword-fights / discovers the Master -- for the Table Challenge, and couldn't stop. (Especially after being encouraged by [livejournal.com profile] mayoroftardtown. "I'll get you, my pretty!")

Anywhoddle, I've added two more to the set, and of course they fill in the slots between the first three, because I can't just do things the easy way, nooo. So here are the headers for the new two, but if you start off at Candlelight Bath, everything's linked together so you can read them in order.
