How this will work: We'll be following the crack_van model, largely. Reccers will write no fewer than three (3) reccomendations over a period of two weeks. You can do a few more if you like, but you know, save some for the rest of the com. :p Try and aim for one non-traditional rec during your tenure. We're looking for shippy fics, but, provided you've given us two solid pairing!fics (this isn't calufrax , people!), we could be interested in some well-written gen (OR three_settings ) featuring either Time Lord-- provided it's not other-shippy. I don't want to read your epic Ainley!Master/Tegan based off Gone With The Wind,* thanks. Your third could also be a vid! Art! A fan mix! Think about it.

I originally suggested "an emphasis towards promoting lesser-known fic, either on Teaspoon or lj, that we might not have read yet and which deserves some love." A few people pointed out they had trouble gagueing what might fall under that heading, or said that (due to being new to the fandom) they wanted to know where to start their reading--which I guess means also reccing fics many of us may have seen before, but not everyone has. I guess the best solution is to promote two under-appreciated fics, or to aim for a blend: pair a fic that seems broadly known with a more personal favorite, perhaps? Use your own best judgment.
