Three things:

*As much as we love this layout, with its lovely header and crisp design ethic, created for us by the awesome marah_sarie  , we have reached our second birthday. Between that and a new Doctor in a week, there is no better time for a new layout. Perhaps you'd like to submit designs? We'd love to coo over them, have a bevy to choose from/swap out from time to time, or even to use for our own personal ljs or fic journals (naturally appropriate credit will be involved).

* We should make little 'I completed X Classic Arc!' badges for the OLD watchalongs and the Master ones we've been doing, and 'I completed X Doctor!' badges for people who finish certain Doctors' whole runs, to help people keep track, to make shinies, and to encourage attendence and classic!canon!conquering via REWARDS. I put it to you graphics peeps! Who wants to make shinies?

Thoughts? redvelvetaddict  and the vacationing srevans  are also good People To Talk To re: these things, as artmod and watchalongs mod-- point 2 and 3 are more redvelvetaddict 's turf, and 3's srevans  's, a bit, re: watchalong stuffs.

hello - this is my second rec. i should tell you that i plan to rec more than the usual three in my fortnight, partly because not many other people are and therefore i don't feel all that bad about stealing all my favourites, and partly because i'm reccing at calufrax at the moment and i've got the recommending itch. anyway - this, my second - doesn't actually feature the doctor at all and is in now way a shippy story BUT i like it, and bizarrely i recced actual d/m on calufrax just 10 minutes ago. so, evening it out, i give you-

Why this must be read: because it's GREAT. i couldn't stand charley initially and then, gradually, as i got to know her she came to be one of my all time favourite companions, for things like the way she nags the master in this story and is a little bit too clever and a little bit too stupid at the same time. she's brilliant in this story, and so is the master - in that he's trying to conceal who he is from charley and not doing that good a job of it and, as usual, not doing a very good of conquering the universe, either. not actually... brilliant at anything good, whatever ten says.

Tag Squad

On behalf of our Modly Overlord, I'm seeking a few volunteers to be part of a long-term Tag Squad. Members would still tag their own posts, but the Tag Squad would double check the tagging on new posts, change or add tags as necessary, cut redundant tags, and other general tag maintenance to keep the tags clean and consistent.
