Fic Reccing Time: Two Stories --- See the Entry

For my last day of fic reccing duty, I bring you two, very different fics by different authors, only one of which is Doctor/Master in any configuration.

First Fic Title:  Velleity
Pairing:  Theta/Koschei
Length: 5482
Warnings:  Carries an NC-17 rating; explicit sex
Authors on LJ: violetisblue  and jonquil 
Author website:  Archive of Our Own page for first author, who has also archived some stories at Teaspoon under the name "Vali";  none found for second author
Why this must be read:  I don't much go in for fic of the Wields-A-Whip!Master/"Please Master, Beat Me, Hurt Me, Make Me Write Bad Checks"!Doctor variety.  There are, however, a handful of them out there that make for really good reading.  I think they do so because they preserve believability by acknowledging, on some level and whether intentionally or unintentionally, that the Master has always been more invested in the relationship than the Doctor and is therefore the party who is always at a disadvantage in their interactions even though it may not always look like it on the surface. This story, filled with pretty darn hot schoolboy sex as it is, accomplishes that subtly (although whether it's intentional is unclear -- to me, at least).
Excerpt:  Today, as a favor, Koschei was actually allowing Theta to give him what he wanted; today then, with great gratitude, Theta would give it in full measure.

And now, to the fic that I picked to rec as a sort of penance for having become a whining, rec-dodging flake on our illustrious leaders back at the beginning of this year. 

Second Fic Title:  Nameless, Faceless
Pairings:  None
Length:  3943 words
Warnings:  None
Author on LJ:  d_generate_girl  (aka bluerosefairy )
Author website:  None that I could find, although this author archives fics at Teaspoon under the name "voodoochild".
Why this must be read:  A story about the once-strong women of Gallifrey, now diminished and powerless.  Sort of.  It has a feel reminiscent of The Mists of Avalon, and makes for an enjoyable non-Doctor/Master read (although they make appearances);  please don't let that stop you from giving it try.
Excerpt:  Susan can feel all of them, scattered through time and space, all the wasted potential of Gallifrey's Time Ladies.
