3 Doctor/Master manips, icons, wallpaper

I've made 3 manips of the Tenth Doctor/Simm!Master (admittedly, they're all made using photoshoots of David Tennant and John Simm, so they may come off more David/John than Doctor/Master). I've included 20 base icons and one matching wallpaper, all rated G.

Canon D/M pair orderings

Several weeks ago I posted this, asking where to start in my quest to gain a better understanding of historical Doctor/Master, and I found that all of you were very, very nice and helpful and I've been doing all the reading and downloading and watching that I can with the way my summer classes are going (which is slow but steady and surely) and I'm still loving every bit of it.

However, at the risk of sounding silly and very under-informed and underachieving, I fear I come to ask for your help again, if anyone's so inclined to give it.

I promise I'll bring something that, to my thought, is interesting and nice next time I show up to make up for the trouble.

Anyway, my problem is this:

I'm making a Doctor/Master fanmix/FST for scifiland and one of the challenges there. While I am basing it primarily off what I know of Ten and Simm!Master, I have done enough reading and bits and pieces watching now where I simply cannot view this as the whole picture and therefore some of the way my view of the ship has been shaped by its history has bled over into the song choices and such.

Part of the challenge that I'm doing the FST for requires cover art, and one idea I'm toying with for the front cover is a sort of thing that involves various incarnations of the Doctor and the Master, as I've been very pleased with apparently beginning to understand blending in graphics, even if I'm not good at it yet.

Therefore, to aid in my search for pictures and for my continued education's sake, I was wondering if anyone who knew off the top of their head would list the Doctors and Masters that canonically correspond with each other.

That is, Simm!Master and Ten "go together" in this sense. I tried looked at the tags, but it seems that based on the nature of fic, there's some overlap, and I just wanted to know which Master and which Doctor belonged to one another in terms of in-show canon, not counting the Shalka ones.

Bonus love from me if you have any suggestions for where I can find pictures, as my watching and ability to screencap is dependent upon a lot of unreliable things that I cannot possibly have done by the 15th.

Because even though we talk about other things and our lives, those conversations are based on knowing each other well, due to our foundation of mutual interest in this pairing, which we’ll return to and talk about a lot. We’re not a general DW/Geeky Friending Meme—that’s someone else’s very worthy cause.

For b_e members to feel cozy chatting without their squee being harshed, there can’t be people looking on who are being made uncomfortable/are not Into This. It’s the Public Thoroughfare concept again, only this time, the Thoroughfare is a street you came to because it has all the comic book shops on it. You really like comic books, and you’ll feel comfortable discussing them in depth on this street, in a way some people might not if they were in the street with all the banks and harried bankers on it. You want to maintain it as a safe space for discussing those comics.

Bottom Line:

Special Guesting creates weird tensions. People should only be in chat because they, of their own initiative, wanted to be there. Not to oblige anyone but themselves, not because they were talked into it—when someone thinks they’re Doing People a Favor by being there, others sense that, and it’s really uncomfortable for all involved. Don’t be discouraged from letting interested friends know b_e and its chat exists! Or telling them if you like it! But, you know, let people make their own, natural, comfortable decisions, and we’ll all be merrier for it.

Wordcount (this chapter): about 6,000
Summary: The Doctor lands in 1671, and meets an old friend. Unfortunately that old friend has a plan, and he's never been very good at them. Worse, the military is kind of... disappearing.
A/N: This is what might have happened if Two-era had had more historical episodes. Take the War Games, add my obsession with English history in general and the exploits of Colonel Thomas Blood in particular, and there you have it. Huge thanks to my beta, birdsarecalling, who picked out all my weird commas and my issues with fictional relationships. Written for the bigbang challenge.

A Doctor for All Seasons

Since all Doctors are created equal, and one man's scary-eyed untouchable Four is another's 70s-haired sex god, I thought I'd make a D/M sticker for every canon era, so that all may enjoy their oh-tee-pee, and seeing several pairings they never wanted to envisage in the first place.

Of course, they're only physical stickers for me. They're just little pictures for everyone else, but they do come in equation and pretentious verse flavours.
