AN: Written for the Big Bang. Next chapter due Thursday. This chapter is a bit on the shortish side, comparatively, as is the next, but they were simply too long together to leave as one.

It's enough to drive a practically sane madman out of his lunatic mind.

Just a reminder--Scherzo listenalong in the chatroom at 6:30 B.S.T. today, FOUR (and a half) hours from the time of this post!

Please use this Discussion Post for non-chat comments! This is one of my absolute all-time favorites--creepy and thoughtful, Scherzo makes EXCELLENT use of its medium--perhaps the best audios are stories that can only really be realized in this format--without being achingly self-conscious and/or too blatantly meta. It's both an intriguing meditation on the world of the show/its characters and highly successful drama in and of itself, concerned with and capable of speaking about larger things, as 'proper literature' should be. I really advise you to give it a shot, because I love it like pie. Really emotionally overwhelming, disturbing pie. Like maybe rhubarb pie. Mmmmmmmmm.
