Title: Like Old Times
Author: [livejournal.com profile] tierfal
Pairings: Simm!Master/Ten, Koschei/Theta
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 21,300
Warnings: language, snark, mild violence, sexual situations, spoilers through DW S4
Summary: The Master breaks things in the TARDIS until the Doctor almost goes insane, then they end up in the Vivarium, and then all hell breaks loose. The Doctor is not liking any of this – and while he's at it, the dream-flashback-things really, really need to stop.
Author's Note: A post-S3 AU fic, complete with terrible-companion!Master, in which there are explosions and lots of banter. I am sincerely sorry if you've seen this more than once; I cross-posted more than usual because this fic is kind of my baby. And that's what you're supposed to do with babies, right? Pimp them out all over the place? …right?

( “You’re a pathetic caretaker,” the Master announced. “I’m wasting away.” “You could stand to waste a little faster,” the Doctor said without looking up. )

The Commentathon has had good participation, and there are four winners already (that I know of--others might have gotten their comments in and not reported back, which is fine as well). Congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] aralias, self, [livejournal.com profile] trinityday, and [livejournal.com profile] renuki, all of whom came in at 10+.

There's still time to report comments (and sneak last comments in under the wire) over the weekend, and be celebrated accordingly. As much as people who write, art, and generally produce fanwork, people who comment extensively in terms of comment content and/or duration are the people who keep a fandom alive, and should be recognized as such!

My darlings, we have reached and exceeded 1000 comments on our Anon Meme!

This is cause for Great Celebration! I declare a Great Drive to Fill Prompts: in this next week, let us finish no less than twenty responses as a com! That is a reasonable goal, I think. Even if we don't quite manage it, the attempt will provide a great burst of ficlets for everyone to enjoy.

If you've been pondering filling one and haven't gotten around to it, or have abandoned a part-written response or something, now is the time for all b_e ers to come to the aid of the party! Remember art responses are also great! As are MULTIPLE RESPONSES to any and all prompts!

Here are some other ways to mark your love:

1) Prompt more! This is a particularly good time to see your ideas realized.
2) Read and comment on the responses! As the Commentathon just told you via two teal dears bearing a banner with a pean to comments gripped in their mouths, comments are /way/ important.

Pairing: Eight/Roberts!Master (ghostie version)
Rating: R/NC-17/M
Warnings: adult content/explicit sex
Beta thanks: [livejournal.com profile] tula_peiwa For in part inspiring me and then pushing me to finish it c: I love you babe, with all my heart(s).
Summary: There's a ghost in the Doctor's TARDIS... late at night... I wonder who it could be?
A/N:
When this started it was MEANT to be cracky and silly and I was SO ashamed to be writing ROBERTS!Master, but... as sometimes happens, the story evolved and suddenly it wasn't so cracky anymore, but instead pretty angsty and even downright SAD. Anyway, I finished it for my birthday a month ago and... I'm actually really, REALLY proud of it. I hope everyone likes it. I know there isn't a lot of Roberts!Master love in the world, but... give him a chance, he's not all bad...

Light up, light up... as if you have a choice... even if you cannot hear my voice... I'll be right beside you, dear. )
