Why this must be read: I prompted this. I had absolutely no expectation that it would turn out this wonderful. The interaction between the Doctor and the Master is pitch perfect and I love how this has weight to it with out being hopeless. So often things are ether crack or wholly depressing, this manages a balanced realistic view of them and is still a fun read.
