Title: The Grandparent Trap
Pairing: One/The Master
Length: 5,000
Summary: Early into her stay on Dalek war-torn Earth, Susan meets a girl who looks exactly like her.
Rating/Warnings: PG.
Author on LJ (or Teaspoon, or Prydonian):
aralias, aralias on Prydonian, aralias on AO3
Why this must be read:
When I was a kid, I adored the 1961 movie, The Parent Trap. My mother had taped it for me on the VCR, and watched that tape over and over. I probably could have recited bits of it from memory. Taking that into consideration, it isn't surprising I love this fic. It combines two beloved things, and it does so very well. Somehow, it manages not to be the utter crackfic that it could have been. In fact, aralias' writing is superb.
I love all the distinct little differences in Susan and Sharon's personalities due to the different environments they were raised in and their different grandfather figures, and the way they still have so much in common. I enjoyed the characterization and dialogue of the First Doctor, who is irascible, disarming, and endearing. The use of references to the movie were clever and creative. This is a really fun read.

Title: The Master Song (Doctor Who Rap)
Pairing: Gen.
Length: 2:37
Warnings: This song may get stuck in your head.
Author on LJ (or Teaspoon, or Prydonian): Horrible Fiction on YouTube
Why this must be seen:
Because it's silly, fun, and catchy. It makes me giggle whenever I watch it. This is sort of a combination of music and cosplay. Horrible Fiction wrote and recorded the song, and then created the youtube music video for it. The song itself is about Simm!Master, and it references both Series 3 and End of Time.
