Apologies are due to Mister Noyes for what I have done to his poem. With the historical challenge to tempt me, I simply couldn't resist. The poem you'll find beneath the cut is what I imagine might have happened if Noyes had adapted "The Mind of Evil" to suit his poetic fancy. I suppose I also owe Don Hughton an apology, for what I have done to his very excellent script...

Here is a link to the original poem. If you haven't read it, I would highly recommend that you do so before reading my rather poor parody.

So, here's the last part of Self Preservation. The second part is where things really get going. If you liked the first bit, I think you'll like the second part even more. I hope you enjoy it!

Title: Self-Preservation (Part Two)
By: Memory Dragon
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, nor do I make any claim to.
Summary: Running for his life with the Master, the Doctor finds someone he just can't leave behind.
Characters: Third Doctor/Delgado Master/Simm Master
Warnings: More choking, but that's about it. Nar seems convinced I have a thing for it, but really it's just a convenient way to threaten people when they are unarmed. And it's much more immediately threatening and personal than say, a gun.

Part One, if you missed it, can be found here.
