best_enemiesI need a beta for a Shalka story that's about half pg Doctor/Master relationship stuff and half normal episode adventure things, told from Alison's point of view. I've been working on it off and on for about...three months, and while it's done now (at about 8,000 words), I'm highly suspicious that it doesn't actually make any sense.
I'd appreciate someone who could go through it with a focus to rooting out incoherency and my tendency toward tangents. Someone with a good grasp of character voices would also be nice, but since it's Shalka and they only ever got the one animation, I don't think it's that big a deal. It's more about maintaining internal consistency. Since I've been over it a lot, I don't think spelling or grammar will be a major issue- though if you find errors or want to point out other problems, that would be great. Basically, I just need someone who can call me out when the plot gets dull, incomprehensible, or both.
