The theme of today’s set of recs will be Delgado!Master and his unremitting sexual frustration. In case anyone was wondering, the quotation I used for the cut is from “The Time Monster.” Poor Delgado!Master ;)

Why this must be read: I defy you to watch a single Three Era Doctor/Master episode without asking the question: Is Three really, really, deep down inside, a consummate dick? The answer this fic provides is remarkably twisty, sharp and nuanced. Also, the voices are excellent.
Excerpt:

"You'll be executed at dawn," the Doctor said, feeling cold under his skin. The actual words had been "elimination of a threat to global security", but it was an execution nonetheless, and he was the one bringing the news. Sharply, he watched the Master's reaction.

There hardly was any. The Master blinked, then cocked his head slightly. His expression grew sardonic. "How quickly you've adjusted to your new position within the establishment, Doctor. To think - just two mere years ago you were a renegade, caught by the Celestial Intervention Agency, begging for his life, and now - oh, how far you've come."

"I strongly opposed this decision," the Doctor snapped.
The Master clucked his tongue and shook his head. "If you work for the military, Doctor, then you stand for their values. And their decisions. But still - thank you for your good intentions."

This one’s not explicitly Doctor/Master, but I think it would actually be quite a challenge to make a vid about Delgado!Master, Ainley!Master, and Simm!Master without the Doctor obsession becoming a theme. It’s nearly flawless, absolutely mesmerizing, and very in keeping with the theme of the post:
