Hello! I'm Lyn, and will likely mostly be lurking, but thought I should drop in and say hi anyway. <3 Looks like a great community, and I look forward to reading what others have to say.

Hello! *waves like a lunatic* I'm Erie. I've been a casual Doctor Who fan since I was a tiny PBS-obsessed child, but NuWho took hold of my heart and wrenched it completely into fanatic territory. I adore every one of the Doctor/Master incarnations, so my favourites tend to drift based on my mood. At the moment though, I'm really into Three/Delgado!Master because theirs is the love of the twelve/thirteen-year-olds of the world. Honestly, I just find it almost impossible to resist a good 'I can't hear you nah-nah-nah' battle.
My personal canon is fairly fluid, but for your viewing pleasure: I think when they were in the Academy, they were always skirting the line between friends, academic rivals and lovers, not so much because it might upset someone as because of how ridiculously over-invested they were in each other. At first neither of them wanted to be the one to risk the friendship, but it quickly grew into this game where they wanted to see who would break first, complete with escalating actions and reactions. So, when the the Doctor ran away, I one hundred percent believe that he at least approached the Master about coming with him and, for whatever reason, the Master took something that could easily be translated as 'let us steal away to raise Susan properly and kiss with tongues' to be just another part of this game and turned him down. And then promptly kicked himself before finding a way to blame the Doctor when he realised that he had just forfeited out of a very clear win. XD Competence: not always his strong suit.

I am a Joann, I am an ickle bb Who!fan, by which I mean three-to-four years, and, hmm. In my personal canon, monkeys with typewriters produced the End of Time two-parter, the Moff is God Of All, also Douglas Adams, and everyone fancies Eight at least a bit. Or is that reality? I get the two mixed up.
Anyway, hello!

Hello! *waves*
I'm El, and just a little obsessed with Doctor Who - specifically Doctor/Master. I came to the fandom in 2005, with Eccleston introducing me to the world of Who. I've been lurking around here fore a good two months now - EoT threw me back into my Doctor/Master flailing with a vengeance, but I figured I should say hi. I've never posted any Who fics, although I'm currently writing one. Anyway, looking forward to taking part in the community!
Although I've only really seen New Who, I've become passingly familiar with the classic series through reading fics and, well, looking things up. I'm also currently catching up on any classic Who eps featuring the Master - finished watching Terror of the Autons last night (internet, oh how I love you) and am partway through The Mind of Evil - thoroughly enjoying it, although the bad sets and soundtrack make me giggle uncontrollably at times. Particularly the music *grins*
I'll read any Doctor/Master whatsoever, but Ten/Simm!Master has to be my favourite (I'm very fond of manic characters, and these to practically epitomise 'mania').
Personal canon? Extremely fluid. However, I prefer the idea of them being close friends, then lovers, and now ... well, best enemies, with the hope of becoming lovers again. They care about each other, damn it!
And here endeth my ramble. Apologies for how ... ramble-y it was.
