End of the End of Time, Part II

I finally watched EoT II on Sunday, and it has just occurred to me how very Old School the ending was. The Master discovers that the force he has summoned is hostile, and he and the Doctor have to band together to defeat it. Why, it goes right back to ... "Terror of the Autons"! Not to mention "The Mind of Evil", "The Sea Devils" ... the list goes on and on.

(Now to nip back in time and read some of your reviews of the episode at my leisure. ;-)
