Hi, so, I've been lurking for a while (sing it if you know the words!) and now I have worked up the guts to join. Because chronic awkwardness doesn't stop when you're talking to people in a box.

My Doctor/Master love story starts about ... seven years ago, maybe, when the ABC reran all of the DW episodes evar. So, there was One and Two, who were awesome. And then there was Three and the Brig and Bessie and lo verily, he was my Doctor. And then... there was the Master. And the skies did open and the plants did grow and the birds did sing and I did say, 'They fancy each other a bit, don't they?'

So I have a giant hard on for 3/Delgado!Master, to which all of the others are somewhat secondary. (Also, as has been noted ad nauseum, it seems to be the last time you can get away with pure fluff without having to add in some kind of work-around for all of the built-up issues they've accumulated.)

My fanon rotates. I like problem couples, not just in the 'I'm batshit crazy and you're a commitment-phobe' sense, but in the 'I had a grand-daughter and you've legitimately tried to take over the world and no-one is entirely sure what happened in the Academy days or the Time War, we've only got a vague idea' sense. So basically, I don't always want to ignore the rest of their lives for the sake of their EPIC LOVE OMG, I quite like the idea that sometimes, they just have other shit going on, but still inserting their issues with each other into all of that.

I've gone in both the 'Doctor wants to reconcile with the Master but the Master just wants to play games' and the 'the Master just wants the Doctor to love him but the Doctor is flighty/callous/has too many morals' directions. Recently more of the later, but as mentally taking the Master's side so often leads to me finding the Doctor quite offputting, I'm starting to swing back the other way again. This has quite a lot to do with me not wanting to dislike the earlier incarnations of the Doctor (although for some time I was v. v. happy to dislike Ten. I'm getting over that.)

Coming off the last two points (and then I really really will shut up) I do quite like the whole 'Theta and Koschei were in a happy relationship/v. v. close friends except Koschei's obsession with immortality/power/breaking some random law of Time/insert your own here lead him down crazy dark paths of mad experimentation and he was eventually found out by the Council and kicked off Gallifrey.' Because again - lives outside of each other, and also allows for them to still love the other dearly, but different morals keep them apart. So, there's that.

Hey! Well I’m Annie and mostly I just lurk, making random comments here and there. I found this through a friend, that is a big New Who(I have been trying to get her into the Classic Who) fan a while back. I have watched most Classic Who, only missing a few from First and Second, which is been fixed soon. As for fandom, I guess for fics I’m a huge Three/Delgado!Master fan, but my Doctor is Four. Since I’m not good at this intro posts I will end this here. <3

My within the OTP otp is probably Three/Delgado, but I wind up drawing an awful lot of Ten/Simm. Life's like that. :|

I have a vast amount of fanon. Almost all of it is fairly cracky and will probably never see the light of day. I have a particular interest in stories that explore the Eight/Master dynamic outside of the [absolutely ridiculous but sort of fabulous in its own special way] TVM. Especially if they involve the Audios.

Also, I'm unhealthily obsessed with the various incarnations of Academy fic floating around out there. Theta/Koschei is pretty much made of win.

I don't think there is any doctor that I don't like, but I am a real fan of Six. (It's often hard to find other people who love Six:))
