New Mod Needed

As much as it pains me to say this, I'm going to need a new General Mod to take my place. I don't want this com to be orphaned, but I really find myself falling out of love with the pairing, and I need the extra time to devote to the new com I'm founding for the many under-served fans of Iris Wyldthyme/Bessie. These poor auto-mobile... 'aficionados' ('auto-lovers' is a loaded term in our pairing) need a com to rally 'round and a lot of liquor to drink. No, seriously. A LOT.

It's been a blast guys, and I'm really sorry to go. I hope you'll drop by--well, I'm still deciding on a name. Either manual_transmission or better_than_bus...

I am awake. I have been awake for far too long pasting hats onto Time Lords. Somewhere in there I took a break from the Fezing to hammer out these for the challenge. Four bits of fanart, one for each episode.

I've just finished listening to "Sympathy for the Devil" and I've been (ever so quietly) bowled over by it. :-D Has there been any discussion about it on the comm, or has it inspired any fic?

And can any recommend any other Big Finish audios for me to listen to next?

Something I Want To Ask

A few things I've been itching to ask and you lot seem perfect for this.

When is the earliest the Master (just the character, Simm optional or new actor in role) should come back in Eleven's tenure?
What episode specifically? Just one or another finale?
What kind of story would you like to see? (not slash, well maybe some).

And my answers

1: Definitely Series 6. Series 5 has enough to be getting on with and it would be too early. Also, I'd go with new actor as well.
2: The first two parter of the sixth season. If it's good enough for the Cybermen and Daleks, then it's good enough for the Master.
3: I'd go with a body swap story, akin to the Buffy episodes This Year's Girl/Who Are You where the Master's sort of forced to be like the Doctor in some ways and get a better understanding of him but the Master doesn't become a good guy when he's back in his body, just that he knows the Doctor a little better. Something more low key and psychological would be good.
