Lo! 'Tis now my turn to drive the rec van! I'm going to try to go for variety in my recs, reccing stories of different pairings, different lengths, and different genres. The first rec, representing humour and the Shalka boys is "Robots and the Men Who Love Them."
Pairing: Shalka!Doctor/Shalka!Master
Length: ~1000
Warnings: Crack. Glorious crack. Reading it might make you fail a drug test.

Why this must be read: I know Jane from the Sherlock Holmes fandom, where her fics are well regarded, and I was thrilled when she turned to the dark side and was seduced by Who. This is her second ever Who fic and it is hilarious. It’s a crossover with Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd century, but you don’t need to be at all familiar with that show to enjoy the story. (I’ve never seen it myself.) As Jane herself says, “For those of you who haven't seen SH22, all you really need to know is Holmes got magically preserved by some friendly bees (I'm only exaggerating slightly) 'til the 2100's, and was then provided with a robotic version of Watson by Scotland Yard forsexing purposes to help him with his cases.”
