OK, full disclosure, I really wrote this because I am obsessed with fic about holding hands recently, and I wanted to write some cranky hand-holding between the Doctor and the Master. Then I realized it fit the AU challenge too, if only in the Simm!Master-travels-with-the-Doctor way! Two for the price of one? :O
