I'm Jabber! I discovered Doctor Who a few years ago (and quickly became a Doctor/Master shipper), but I'm just now getting my feet wet in the world of "classic who". (It takes a long time for shows like Who to filter down to Venezuela.)

I've been reading everyone's intro posts and I love hearing the different takes on fanon. I don't have any personal fanon of my own, I prefer creating different scenarios. I suppose you could say my personal fanon is that the Doctor and Master's relationship is so complicated, complex, and multi-faceted that it can be shown truthfully in almost any light imaginable. Does that make sense?

I'm not a hugely prolific writer, but I am a prolific commenter... And now it's time for the "English is my second language and occasionally I make stupid mistakes/can't spell this idiotic language to save my life" disclaimer. I know it's wrong, please don't keep telling me. It'll only frustrate BOTH of us.

Hi! I'm Bastet. I'm very pleased to be joining the community. I've been lurking for a while, and am really looking forward to taking part in your discussions!

I really love the extent of Doctor Who's history, and how there are so many changes in the series over time, as well as consistent themes that develop, and little details to notice. Similarly, I love stories that explore the history involved in the Doctor and the Master's relationship. I am particularly fond of Delgado!Master.

I haven't entirely sorted out what my personal fanon is, but I like to think that the Doctor, the Master and the Rani were all geeky misfits as kids (and still are), and that their relationships when they were children were an important formative influence in who they are now, though not as much as the events that led to each of them leaving Gallifrey.

I can't believe I just discovered this community! I am always late to everything. I didn't get into DW at all until last fall, and I am still one of those dreadful New Who Tennant-and-Simm-loving fangirls who hasn't seen a single episode from the classic series, but I do hope and plan to watch some of the old-school Doctor/Master episodes as soon as I get a chance to download them.

Lately I am crazy for Theta/Koschei, which I have been attempting to write, probably very badly, but I'm amusing myself, at any rate. I don't have a personal fanon, exactly, except that of course they were having the sex in their Academy days and messing around with each other's heads in dangerous ways, bringing mindfuckery to a whole new level. And that Theta would usually humor Koschei by letting him top, except for the times when he thought Koschei needed taking down a peg or two.

So, yes, anyway, hi. I'm Thirdbird. I am usually a dreadful lurker, I have to admit, but am trying to reform a bit lately and be at least a little more participatory.

Hmm, so I'm Kuro and I've been a moderate Whovian for pretty much all my life but New Who rekindled my love for the entire fandom.

I tend to only write in Master POV because I find him a lot easier a character to understand than the Doctor, but I personally love seeing the Doctor's take on their relationship.

I love Koschei/Theta, Delgado/Three, Ainley/Five and Simm/Ten. A personal favourite of mine is out-of-time stye storylines i.e. Simm/Five etc...
