MerryChristmas Intro Post, one and all!
Um, hello, I'm mezzo. I'm 18 years old and English (although this claim is apparently questionable due to my distaste for tea and scones, which are important criteria). I hang out in the chat for unreasonable lengths of time and mostly contribute art :D
My doctor is still Ten. I love eleven and nine too, but Teeen. I'm primarily a New Whovian, although I've seen bits and pieces of Old Who and love Four and - for the cats and general hilarity - the episode 'Survival'. As one might expect, my Master is Simm. I love his craziness and his mania! He's so dynamic and mad. Love him. :D
Um, um, personal fanon. Of which I have none.
...
Okay, there is literally none, so have some polaroid-style opinions regarding what my doctors/master do/does
Ten: enjoys Simple Plan; also old-school Britney; also novelty hats. Ten's favourite animal is an axolotl:
Simm: enjoys Glee; also likes burning ants with magnifying glasses. Simm's favourite animal is a tarsier:

Eleven: likes going into libraries and reading picture books for children, the wrong way up, just because he can. Eleven's favourite animal is a giraffe:

Right. Introductions. Hello! I am saint_chimes, it says so underneath my icon, so it *must be true*. I guess I'm a new fan, but I have been for a while? And uh, I like this community, this community is made of win so I thought I'd force myself upon it!
I haven't been on LJ for ages, so this is my *old* fandom journal and any wide-eyed shrieking unnknowns who might find their way here through it will probably be my fault. Sorry.

Hello my name is Crazywhovian, i got into DW through new Who but am just starting to catch up with Old Who.
I've written a few Ten/Simm!master drabbles on my livejournal and also a few Red Dwarf one shots. I'm kind of an obsessive fan who stumbled upon this Comm by accident whilst i was in hospital all last year and bored out of my head. *Hey its nice in here*
Im from England and i'm mostly a beta and britpicker but I occasionally write the odd one-shot here and there. If anyone on this comm is looking for beta/britpicker point them in my direction!
I'm looking forward to coming out of the shadows and joining in with the happy B_E fun!

Hi! New here, just found this place by accident and thought I'd drop in. Anyway, so, let's see...obviously, I'm a huge fan of Doctor Who, in particular for the interactions between the Master and the Doctor. Though I appreciate a good oldie-episode, the real reason I keep up with the show is for the new stuff, especially when it concerns Simm-Master (or, as I like to think of him, Hobo-Master). Seriously, I cannot get enough of the of that guy 0.o Especially with the Tenth.
I'm also, if we're going into the particulars, a big fan of the idea that it's actually The Doctor who is the dominant in the relationship; I don't mean sexually, though I do like that. It's just, The Master was really only hanging on to what was left of his sanity by the skin of his teeth by the time the Tenth episode finale came along, and the only thing that was keeping him together was the Doctor. Which, as far as I can tell, seems to be a running theme between the two of them; the Master's only real focus in life seems to be, largely, just to achieve impressing the Doctor.
Anyway, I'll try to be an active fan for as long as I can. I'll put up some pics soon ^_^

'ello. Just joined. Found the link to this comm in a comment on "Alis Grave Nil" (absolutely freaking LOVING that fic) and thought I'd pop in. Figured there can never be too much Doctor/Master. :-)
I don't know that I really have a personal fanon. I just got into the DW fandom in early September. I'd seen "Impossible Planet" & "Satan Pit" a few years ago on Sci-Fi Channel (or PBS, still can't remember which), thought the show was interesting, but never gave it any more thought. It wasn't until I got bored after finishing my homework on the last Saturday of August last year that I decided to turn on the TV.
Being that I have no cable, there was nothing on to watch. But then I remembered that PBS played Doctor Who on Saturday nights, having heard the end-credits "Coming Up Next" spiel when watching some other Brit shows on there (I love PBS Saturday nights!). So I switched it on. The episode was "Girl in the Fireplace," and that was it. I was hooked.
I began my viewing "career" with the TV movie and it only took me a week and a half to watch from the movie all the way through to watching "Planet of the Dead."
Anyway... The Doctor/Master is only my second slash pairing that I actively ship (House/Wilson being the first).
I really didn't catch on to the pairing while watching TLOTL. It was actually after watching some Doctor/Master vids on YouTube and then watching some of Five's tenure that really hooked me.
So for me, my main "versions" of Doctor/Master are Ten/Simm and Five/Ainley. I've not watched any of Doctors One through Four, and I've not read any of the books nor listened to any of the audios.
So, yeah. Hello! *waves as she walks off rambling* ;-)
