Why this must be read: I really love this com because of stuff like this. One really awesome prompt and it spawned six different little fics all hilarious in there own way. I'm not good with the words so:
Six:
"I suppose it could be read that way." The Doctor frowned, shifting a little uncomfortably in his seat. He wasn't foolish enough to think that the story's passionate romantic subplot would escape Evelyn's attention, but he had hoped she would at least overlook it and focus instead on his, frankly magnificent, poetic abilities.
Nine:
He had been living on his own for too long. He had gotten sloppy. He had forgotten the First Rule of Letting Companions Wander Around the TARDIS. Or no, wait. Actually, the First Rule of Letting Companions Wander Around the TARDIS was: never let them accidently electrocute themselves by touching the space/time circuits. He had checked the space/time circuits and they were up to code.
Ten:
"Oi! Doctor!"
The Doctor's pen stuttered to a halt, his writing interrupted by a Donna-sized shriek from the console room.
"What it is?" He yelled back.
"It's the vidphone! That big dick is calling you again!
The Doctor winced. "I wish you wouldn't talk about the Alpha Centaurian vizier like that. He can't help the way he's shaped, and their species doesn't even have-- oh, never mind. Just hold on, I'll be right there."
