2) Thought ganked ruthlessly from

aralias, and particularly apropos since we just watched Daemons, one of the worst offenders: why does the Master want to use an endless string of obvious pseudonyms? 'Keller' is probably the best job he ever does of not being obviously himself, other than 'Harold Saxon': and his failure to get a good faux-name is jarring b/c his disguises are sometimes very 'actually effective.' Khalid's brand of nutcaseness, for example, was, er, not immediately transparently Master-ish.

Does he just not /like/ giving up his name fully, and so he always has to preserve it somehow? What's the use of even having a false-name that doesn't effectively function as one the moment the Doctor hears it? Like YANA, are they all little messages intended for the Doctor, direct gives, even when it spoils his schemes when the Doctor catches on to them too early and comes to muck up his plans? Does he just have a word-play kink like he apparently has a summoning kink?

But if he had a wordplay!thing...you'd think he'd be /better/ at it. Like, crazy!confusing!wordplay
that only the Doctor could get, or really clever references. Not 'Master! In many permutations!'

a) Who cleans the TARDIS? Are we talking magic ship here (while it seems like it's fanon, that'd be awfully convenient, as it doesn't seem to repair itself in any manner), or does the Doctor/companions/Shalka!Master have to do laundry/tidy the kitchen/scrub up?
b) what underwear would the Doctor wear? Any regeneration. Conversely: same for the evol ex.
