Hi guys! Just one rec for you today I'm afraid. Kid!fic this time
Title: Change for the Better
Pairing: Doctor/Master (mild)
Length: ~10,000
Summary: When the past turns up in the form of Koschei aged four and a half, the Doctor and the Master have to get him back where he's supposed to be before the paradox wipes the Master's timeline out of existence - even if existence would be better off without him
Warnings: none
Author on Lj:

Why this must be read: Why? Well, it's kid!fic with a difference, for one. It cleverly ties up a few loose ends that always had me wondering too. Like, why was the Master named Koschei? And the Doctor and Master do science together!
Excerpt:
‘Koschei – you made tea?’ he said, quickly hopping off his chair to take the drinks from his hands. ‘You shouldn’t have, and I mean really, you shouldn’t - you could have scalded yourself!’
‘He’s a child, not an idiot,’ the Master told him – getting in a second before Koschei, mouth already half-open, could say presumably the same thing.
