We'd been thinking about it for a while, I promise, but ontd_who is currently running a friending meme (v cool com, check it out), which reminded me to do it today, rather than never.

What's a friending meme? you may ask. And why do we want one? (Unless you know about this already, in which case skip to the end).

Well, best_enemies, a friending meme is basically a questionnaire you fill out about yourself, then people comment and say they want to be your friend, and you comment on other people/the same people's questionnaires and tell them you want to friend them. It's kind of like saying 'I want to meet cool new people', which is good for the socially awkward among us, who like cool people. In this case it's also much like ye old introduction post, except we do it all at once, and the aim of the game is to comment and mix and socialise in a non threatening way.
