"Listen to me, Master," the Doctor hissed in their native language. "In less than thirty seconds, the US military will be storming the Valiant looking for you. You helped assassinate the President of the United States, which means technically Britain and the United States are at war."
The Master shrugged his shoulders. "Frankly, I don't care."
"Do you think anyone aboard the Valiant is going to help you? After all that you have done? The people on Earth might not remember but everyone here does. Hell, they'll hand you over with a smile and wash their hands of you," the Doctor snapped, "and after they have executed you, they'll discover that you're an alien who can't die! What do you think will happen then? You'll be locked away and spend the rest of your life as a lab rat if you're lucky."
The Master merely stared at him and then slowly nodded.
"Doctor?" Jack asked as several US warplanes flew by the Valiant and the helicopters grew louder and louder with each passing second.
"What's it going to be? Me or the US military?" the Doctor demanded.
"I don't have much of a choice, do I?" the Master replied in a sullen voice and smiled to himself. He knew that the Doctor would take him far away from Earth and when the Doctor's guard was down, he would escape.
"Jack, we're leaving," the Doctor said quickly, tugging the Master towards the door. The crew of the Valiant watched them through hated filled eyes.
"Good, and do us a favor, don't come back to Earth for a few centuries," Jack said coldly, glaring daggers at the Master. "If I ever see him again, I will kill him."
