There's been a spate of excellent fic since the end of the month, and I wanted to be sure we could catch them all (like Pokemon) and appropriately shower the writers with lurve.

Waiting for Marriage (ficlet) by blackletter 
Read it because: Brisk, cute, and, on Theta's part, failtacular.

Trace/Trail (ficlet) by thecurlyone 
Read it because: Good use of parallelism, self-confident prose, with a warm-amber sort of /feel/--'slow like honey, heavy with mood.' The first time I typed this I accidentally produced 'heavy with ood,' which is really just EoT!Ten.

When it's over, will I dream? (chapter fic) byvonquixote  
Read it because: a deeply talented writer, great characterization, wonderful involvement with classic canon--one of my favorite developing fics

Lust and Chastity (ficlet) by lovova 
Read it because: Funny, entirely surprising, satisfyingly cracky

Panic (fic) by batmanboxers 
Read it because: Ten/Previous Master!fic--there, I just sold it to you.

Stitching at the Wounds (Turning at the Center of Time) (chapter fic) by blackletter 
Read it because: BURNING UST!! See it ooze from the excellent characterization and the deft prose! Another favorite developing fic. Good plotting, too, and in a well-set-up fic!universe--another /excellent/ engagement with classic. . Do not skip it because you don't know the audio or show canon it touches on--don't cheat yourself like that. Nothing's really /spoiled/, and it's so well-explained without info-dumping that a retarded monkey could follow along. A retarded monkey with internet access. Who liked D/M a lot.

Thin Walls (ficlet) by reasonabsurd 
Read it because: Writer needs to write moar. :p Amusing, well-set-up twist.

To Be Or Not To Be (Mine)bakaknight  
Read it because: It's Master the Audio!fic. Again, all you need to hear--everyone loves that audio. Everyone but me. *sigh*

Behind the Lock (drabble) by gritsinmisery 
Read it because: EXCELLENT use of The Woman.

Montague (Acting Kinda Shady Remix) (fic) by aralias 
Read it because: First of all, for remix!pinch hitting? For hounding me for the privilege until she could get a look at my list of what remained undone? She is a goddess. And it's typical disgustingly good form, by one of my favorite writers in the fandom. And one of my favorite writers full stop.

Plans Within Plans (fic) by delilahdraken 
Read it because: sweet AU Time War fic. Good use of competent!Master!
