Okay.... thanks to this little gem: http://the-curlyone.livejournal.com/12328.html#cutid1 I had an idea...I interpreted: " “So,” the Doctor continues cheerfully, “1800s?” " to mean that the Master did NOT stop killing and thought of Jack the Ripper (no idea if the allusion was intended or not but that's what my brain came up with!) and then got to thinking... what other figures in Earth history could have been blamed on visitations from the Doctor and the Master?

Replies can take any format, just be sure to use the 'Time Lords Down The Ages Challenge' (or time lords down the ages challenge) tag and to post them as replies to this entry. Can be any rating... Cross posted to several comms, hope that's okay?!? I just thought it would be a fun theme to explore!

Hi! So, this is me, bringing you recs for the next two weeks. My plan, in case you're curious as to my definition of 'unusual', is to suggest stories from authors who don't normally write Doctor/Master. I've already got the stories picked out, so hopefully I'll be able to keep them on schedule and fairly evenly spaced.
Anyway, on to the first one:

Title: Literally, Stars in their Eyes
Pairing: Three/Delgado!Master
Length: 1,000-1,500
Warnings: none
Author on LJ (or Teaspoon, or Prydonian, if you can't find the author on lj): [livejournal.com profile] livii , but that's a friends-locked account. Her Teaspoon is here.

Why this must be read:
I read this story very early on in my discovery of fandom, and it's been influential to the point of cementing most of my personal canon concerning Three-era Doctor/Master. This is a fairly short story, but it contains so much, from the Doctor and the Master trying to coexist in one space, to the arguments about laundry, to the inevitable falling out. It also contains some of the best dialogue that I'll never get to hear Delgado say, a source of unending sadness to me.
