Hey, remember your Big Bangs? I do. Each and every blessed one of 'em. Because I'm creepy like that.

It's October First, my unfinished loves, and the end of Big Bang is exactly one month away! Don't panic, that's as long as Nano, and for less than half the word count! You could even START RIGHT NOW and make it in smoothly and in style!

DO YOU HAVE THINKY THOUGHTS?! Specifically any relating to Big Bang? Please leave a comment!contribution in the little box!

Title: Cold Comfort for Change (4/4)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters/Pairings: Three/Delgado!Master, Adelaide Brooke
Setting/Spoilers:  In a universe where the Master joined the Celestial Intelligence Agency, the Doctor and his Companions have some trouble with the law. AU.
Rating: PG-13
Summary: In which Koschei takes a new job, and Adelaide returns to an old one.
Note: Huge thanks to my beta [livejournal.com profile] neveralarch, for suffering through my typos and shepherding me through my first Big Bang challenge.

Previously: Part One, Part Two, Part Three

(Adelaide found her way to the Great Hall and sat down at the head of one of the long tables that had been set up for the Queen's guests. History had never been her subject, and she didn't know how a woman in her position was supposed to act, so she'd decided to conduct herself as though she were the arbiter of all standards for everything in this castle. That usually worked out well for the Doctor.)

Since artists say they want more finished fic to work with and several writers say they could use the extra time, the Big Bang Deadline is hereby EXTENDED to the end of OCTOBER.

Please use this space to chat with each other and/or me about successes, issues, gripes and raves relating to Big Bang--both as readers and creators!
[identity profile] x-losfic.livejournal.com
We're supposed to be finishing our Big Bangs by the end of September, and at least two people have already reached the finish line! Admirable indeed, but as for the rest of us--how do people writing Big Bangs feel about extending the deadline to the end of October? That would give us TWO MONTHS to finish. Even if you haven't started your BB yet, that's double the length of NANO. There's still time!!

Pairing: This chapter: Ten/Simm, Two/Other Master
Rating: This chapter: NC-17 for sexy times
Warnings: Not a thing, actually
Beta thanks: to the marvelous [livejournal.com profile] blackletter
Summary: Wherein the Doctor proposes a plan, the Doctor recovers some important memories, the Master defends his sartorial sensibilities, the Master lays down the law, the Doctor and the Master live happily for-now after, and the Doctor and the Master (though they'd never admit it) live happily for-now after, too.
AN: Written for the Big Bang. And it's finally done! *faints* I'd like to send especial thanks to everybody who encouraged me during the writing, particularly [livejournal.com profile] blackletter (without whom I might well have completely fallen apart), and everyone who's been leaving comments as I've been posting. Y'all are wonderful *hugs*

The Saxon government maintains a strictly anti-kissing stance. It was one of my least popular campaign platforms, but I stuck to it as a matter of honor.
