Let's see, I first became a Who fan when I was fourteen and watched reruns of classic!who on the ABC every afternoon, so my first Doctor was Three, followed (obviously) by Four. After that I'm not sure if we moved house or they stopped playing the reruns... Anyway, I'm somewhat disappointed that I never got to see Five, as he is pretty :)
I've only seen a couple of episodes with Nine (thanks to Dad and the football), but managed to see all of Series Three of New Who.
Somehow, for all that time I watched Doctor Who I don't remember even once seeing the Master, so Simm!Master was my first (and I thought he was extremely awesome as soon as he started talking).
It seemed blatantly obvious to me that once upon a time they used to be lovers, so that's my personal canon.
So yes, Doctor/Master OTP. Recently I've taken a fancy to Theta/Koschei. It's just so cute XD
More personal canon: Koschei was much more vulnerable than the Master (if not entirely law-abiding); the crazy came later in his life. Partly thanks, no doubt, to the Doctor/Theta being highly (unintentionally) insensitive. Get a clue, Theta.
I'm working on a couple of Theta/Koschei fics, but I have a bad habit of not finishing the fics I start. But if I ever get around to it I'd quite like a beta (or two) for them, because at the moment (to be brutally honest) they aren't that good.
I'm actually a good writer but I've been finding it difficult to produce anything of quality outside of in-class narrative exam conditions.
I also have an idea for a multi-Doctor epic, but what with the time travel and all it's kind of confusing and frankly I don't think I have the talent or dedication for what I happen to think is quite a cool idea. Ideally I'd like someone really excellent to pick it up and give it the talent it requires. Like the person who wrote the New Dawn Fades series - that's one of my all time favourite Who!fics.
Also, I'd be happy to beta occasionally =)

Hello and a Beta Request

Anyway, hello! I'm Lady Rani and I have an obsession with all things Master-related. In my opinion, there's just not enough bearded Time Lord evilness in the world (or non-bearded in the case of Simm). I am particularly keen on DelagdoMaster/Three, AinleyMaster/Five and SimmMaster/Ten. Mmmn.
Anyway, I've written a 2350 word crackfic and, being a complete newbie and totally ignorant in the correct ways of fanfic, would appreciate a Beta (or several) to have a look and tell me where I am going wrong (or right...but probably wrong). It's SimmMaster, Ten and Rani, PG-13, no porn, just a bit cheeky in places, and is probably a cautionary tale as to why you shouldn't enlist the Rani's help to raise you from the dead.
Please comment here or on the thread at my journal if you can help.

As I'm sure you're probably all tired of hearing, I started off as a Ten/Simm!Master fan- I'm a bit new to Doctor Who in general- but immediately after seeing the Master arc at the end of Series Three, I went off and dug up everything I could find on YouTube involving the Old Who Master. Because honestly- the man is made of awesome and win. To an insane, incredible degree. So... yeah. Massive amounts of love, really, and hopefully this spiffing little community will only help further that.
I am also a writer of fic, and hopefully I shall soon get over my ridiculous barrier about writing Who!fic and get on that as well.
Oh, look, another one...

The second the Sarah Jane's spinoff shows up on BBC America, I'll probably get hooked, but until that point, I will, once again, be reduced to fanfics and Google searches for info. The Master is one of the only characters whose death I've ever sobbed at when I've only known them three episodes. How someone couldn't ship the Doctor with him, I'll never know...
So, yeah... that was my long-winded introduction. But it had to be done; I must obey the user-info...

Feb. 27th, 2008 09:37 pmblinkidybah.livejournal.comI'm Scone and I'm one of the friendly neighborhood mods, a fan through New Who but an Old Who fan as well (Third <3) Personally I absolutely love ALL Doctor/Master combinations, including Theta/Koschei on up.
In fact, one piece of my personal fanon involves Theta/Koschei... personally I think that while they were (obviously) having smex in Academy, it probably wasn't very good. In fact, it was probably rather awkward, too-earnest, somewhat typical teenage sex, wherein Theta tried very much to make Koschei feel good and the other boy in turn tried very hard to get Theta to want him as much as Koschei wanted him. That was kind of a complicated sentence but there you go. No whips or chains or D/s kinksex... just them and the seeds of all their amazingly ridiculously complicated issues.
So there you go! What's your personal fanon?
